Emmanuel Gallersteez

I have 5 jurored pieces in the Emmanuel Gallery and these are not it. We have an assignment titled 'intervention' where we are to disrupt the flow of life with meaningful text. I took another route and made cyanotypes of my drawings on paper towels, napkins, kleenexes, and toilet paper. I had a kleenex box loaded with cyanotypes and brought it over to the gallery opening to observe the intervention. The gallery assistants were not entirely sure of what my kleenex box was so I showed them. Shannon Corrigan, curator, walked over handed me a box of thumb tacks and a ladder and had me put some of the cyanotypes on the gallery walls. I went from having five prints to fifteen.
